Minus The Bear
Overview
Minus the Bear is a Seattle band featuring members of Botch, Sharks Keep Moving, and Kill Sadie, they play poppy, driving, techy, indie rock.
Their former site had been around since 2001 and with the release of 'Menos El Oso' coming up in August 2005, minusthebear.com was redesigned at the same time.
Naked Intruder have also designed the Website of Producer Matt Bayles, who plays keyboards in Minus the Bear.
The new Minus The Bear Website features;
- A secured PHP admin area allowing complete control of every aspect of the sites content and categories.
- XML driven Flash MP3 player, listen to songs from the new album while you browse the site
- The updateable shows listing connects to Google Maps, giving maps and directions to every show Minus The Bear play. As long as the band enter both the venue name and zip code to allow for more reliable results, the map will be available for that show.
- Total seperation of content, presentation and behaviour. There is absolutely no code in the HTML which dictates how the site should look or behave. All CSS and JavaScript is completely missing from the HTML, from the dynamic tooltips to the code which opens links in other windows is seperated. This is the most technically advanced site we've done to date.
- CSS filters to give a different site design for user of Internet Explorer on the Mac and Internet Explorer 4, which don't support complicated modern site designs.

- AAA Compliant for accessibility
